ring sizing
How can I find my ring size?
Finding the right ring size is crucial for a comfortable fit. We recommend getting your ring size at a local jeweller.
Alternatively, download a ring sizer from the web, or use a ring that fits you well, measure its inside circumference or diameter, then refer to the table below to find your ring size.

What if I ordered the wrong size?
We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If the ring size you ordered does not fit you well, you can return your item for resizing within 28 days of receipt. Please contact me at themetalworksjewellery@outlook.com before returning your item. You are responsible for paying the postage fee for returning your item, as well as any additional resizing costs. I will then cover the postage costs to send the resized item back to you.

When will I receive my order?
Good craftmanship takes time!
As all items are made to order, handcrafted and hallmarked in Birmingham (UK), the processing time before your order is shipped is 2 to 3 weeks. You will be notified via email as soon as we dispatch your order. Once you’ve received your dispatch confirmation email, your item should be with you within 3 to 5 days.
Will I be able to track my order?
Yes, your item will be shipped to you via Royal Mail First Class, and you will receive a tracking number to track your package directly on the courier’s website.
Where do you ship?
We ship to the UK with Free Delivery, and to the rest of the world (EU excluded) with a standard £15.99 Delivery Fee.
Unfortunately, as of December 2024, we are unable to sell to the European Union due to new GPRS regulations. We are hoping that this will change in the near future. we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
International Orders: Your package may be subject to import duties and taxes. You, as the customer, are responsible for paying those fees. We recommend that you check with your local customs office before placing an order on our website as these fees can sometimes be significant and we are unable to calculate these for you.
Delivery Address & P.O. Boxes: Please note that we are unable to modify the delivery address once you have placed your order. We are sorry but we do not ship to P.O. Boxes.

What should I do if I want to return my item?
We want you to be over the moon with your order!
But if you are not completely satisfied with your item, we are able to accept returns and offer a full refund or exchange if the item is returned within 28 days of receiving, in its original jewellery box and in its original condition. However, please note that for hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns of earrings (unless they are faulty).

You are responsible for the postage fee to return your item. If you ordered the wrong ring size and require an exchange, please note that you may have to pay an additional resizing fee. We will then cover the postage costs to send your exchange back to you.
When will I get my refund?
We will issue a full refund as soon as we receive your returned item (provided that we receive it undamaged, in its original condition). You will be notified via email as soon as your refund is issued. However, please note that it may take up to 7 business days for the refund to be processed and appear on your bank statement.

Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals and store your jewellery in a safe place when not in use.
As most of my pieces have an antique finish to them, they will get darker as they age. This is perfectly normal. To bring any lustre back, just polish with a soft cloth.
