ORDERS & DELIVERY
When will I receive my order?
As most items are handcrafted to order, please allow 2-3 weeks before your order is dispatched. Once dispatched, your item will be with you within 3-5 working days (UK delivery) or 10-12 working days (international orders). If you are in a rush, browse our Ready to Ship items, which are in stock and dispatched within 48 hours.
Please see our dedicated Delivery Information page for full details.
What does “Ready to Ship” mean?
We keep a small stock of selected items, such as pendants, earrings and adjustable rings, which can be dispatched within 48 hours. You will still receive the same handcrafted jewellery, but because these pieces are already made and ready to send, you can enjoy a much shorter waiting time.
Where do you ship and what are the shipping costs?
We ship to the UK with FREE delivery, and to most international destinations (excluding EU countries) with a standard £14.99 shipping charge. International orders over £250 qualify for FREE delivery.
Additional charges apply to US orders. Shipping costs are calculated and displayed at checkout.
Please see our Delivery Information page for full details.
Can I view prices in my local currency?
Yes. You can use the currency selector to view product prices in a range of currencies for convenience.
Please note that all orders are processed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) at checkout. The converted prices displayed on the website are estimates based on current exchange rates and are intended as a guide only. The final amount charged in your local currency will be determined by your bank, card issuer, PayPal, or payment provider at the time of purchase.
As exchange rates fluctuate, the final amount charged may differ slightly from the converted price shown on the website.
How can I track my order?
You will receive a confirmation email when you place your order. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a further email containing full tracking information, allowing you to track your parcel on the courier's website.
You can also check the status of your order at any time by logging in to your account on our website. If you checked out as a guest, simply create an account using the same email address you used to place your order, and your order will automatically appear in your account.
Do you have a physical store?
The MetalWorks Jewellery does not have a physical store. However, you can meet us and explore our jewellery in person at our various shows and markets throughout the year.

RETURNS & REFUNDS
Can I return my item?
Yes, you can return your item for a full refund within 28 days of receiving your order, except for earrings. Please see our Returns Policy for more details.
What if I ordered the wrong size ring?
If your ring is not quite the right size, you can return it for resizing within 28 days of receipt. Please contact us before returning your ring so that we can advise you on the process and provide a quote for the resizing and return shipping costs.
Please see our Ring Sizing page for further information and our Ring Size Guide.
OUR JEWELLERY
What is your jewellery made of?
The MetalWorks Jewellery uses only high-quality precious metals. All our jewellery is crafted from 100% recycled sterling silver (also known as 925 silver), and some pieces also feature 9-carat gold details.
Is your jewellery suitable for people with metal allergies?
Yes. All our pieces are crafted from sterling silver, making them suitable for most people with common metal sensitivities.
Sterling silver contains 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% alloy. It is completely nickel-free and complies with European REACH regulations. As nickel is the most common cause of jewellery-related skin allergies, our pieces are suitable for most people with nickel sensitivities.
However, allergies and skin sensitivities can vary from person to person, so we cannot guarantee that every item will be suitable for everyone.
What does a UK Hallmark mean?
A UK hallmark is a series of tiny stamps applied to precious metals such as gold and silver. It confirms that the item has been independently tested by an official UK Assay Office and verifies the metal's purity.
All our jewellery weighing more than 7.78 grams is hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office, as required by UK law, providing you with independent assurance of quality and authenticity. Lighter sterling silver items are exempt from mandatory hallmarking but are crafted from the same high-quality materials.
How should I care for my jewellery?
To keep your jewellery looking beautiful, please follow our care instructions.
Avoid exposure to soaps, cosmetic products, and harsh chemicals, including chlorinated swimming pools. When not in use, store your jewellery in a safe, dry place.
As most of our pieces have an oxidised antique finish, they may darken further over time. This is perfectly normal. To restore some lustre, gently polish with a soft cloth. However, avoid excessive polishing, as this may gradually remove the oxidised finish and alter the appearance of your jewellery.
