Let me introduce myself. I'm Jason, a jeweller from Birmingham, UK. I started in the jewellery trade working with a family friend in the school holidays. Since then, I've worked at a few different jewellery manufactures, making everything from earrings to handmade chains, then to the casting of precious metals into whatever people could imagine.

Since about the age of 12, I've had a love for rock and heavy metal music. This has heavily influenced my life. I was even a rock and metal DJ on the Birmingham club scene for many years. The metal style has always been associated with skullls and the macabre, so I finally decided to combine my love for the scene with my professional skills.

I've always felt that most of the everyday skull jewellery you see is cheaply made and looks tacky, so I wanted to have a high end look that your average metalhead could access. From this, I came up with the idea for the MetalWorks Jewellery. I also didn't want the highly polished look that comes with the cheaper jewellery. So all of my designs have an aged finisih and  an antique look, giving all my pieces the appearance of being around for a long time.
